Our Pastor & founder

Bishop Terrel Johnson was born in New Rochelle, NY on January 7th, 1988. Then he later moved to Martinsville, Virginia where he was raised. He was groomed in ministry as a member of Meadowview A.M.E. Church where he also answered the call for the music ministry as the organist and Choir Director and later answered the call to the ministry under the leadership of the late Reverend Oliver. He became the youth minister of Meadowview at the age of 18.

Elder Johnson Moved to Lynchburg, Virginia where he attended American National University and studied Information Systems Engineering and the understudy of Pharmacy Technician. He plans on furthering his education in divinity. He relocated to Richmond, Virginia in 2011, where he joined under the Leadership of Apostle Brenda Conyers of the Garment of Praise International Deliverance Ministries, where he was also elevated, anointed and ordained as an Elder of the church in September of 2012.

In August of 2017, he answered the call to Pastor. He is now the Founder and Senior Pastor of Passion Praise Outreach Ministries in Collinsville, Virginia and has recently relocated the ministry to a much larger facility in Martinsville, Virginia as the ministry continues to grow. It is multicultural, outreach ministry designed to directly impact the communities that cross all denominational and geographic barriers with a mission to change lives through the empowerment of Jesus Christ. A ministry built on the foundations of God’s Love with its motto being “All we do, We do in Love.” 

In July of 2020. Pastor Terrel Johnson was afforded the oppurtunity to become one of the founding leaders of the International Churches of Deliverance, under the leadership of Chief Apostle Carlton L. Sydnor. In September of 2020, during the first Inaugural Convocation of (ICOD) Pastor Johnson was appointed to the office of Overseer

In 2022 Pastor Terrel Johnson was Consecrated into the office of Bishop on July 23rd under the Leadership of Presiding Prelate, Apostle Norman A. Orrell and served as the Southern Diocesan Bishop. 

On October 11, 2022 Johnson Married Lady Princess Johnson. Bishop is committed and dedicated to the call with the understanding as the bible declares in Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.  Bishop Currently Serves under the Apostle Carlton L. Sydnor and the International Churches of Deliverance.
